You absolutely cannot go wrong if you "Eat at Joe's"!!!

This is a perfect example of a reasonably priced, diner-style breakfast spot that has all the comfort / staple items you'd expect...any kind of egg, breakfast meats, hash browned potatoes, breads, pancakes as big as your head and as much coffee as you can drink.

    Two pro tips for you:
    1. This place is basically in the rear of a stand-alone CVS pharmacy building. It is totally easy to pass it right up because it blends in so well, but rest assured it is right there.
    2. Cash only people...be prepared!!!

My two egg over easy platter served with a mound of bacon strips, wheat toast and well done has browns really hit the spot. And since we were about to play 18 holes of golf I had them throw one of their famous pancakes in the mix as well...so glad I did!  It was fluffy and slight dense, topped perfectly with butter and syrup. Coffee was a medium strength and kept flowing as long as we wished.

We left satisfied and our wallets let out a sigh of relief as well.  Well done, team!

Ate at Joe's and met Joe. The man greets you upon entering and is a fixture in the front of the house. Seats his guests, interacts with new patrons as well as the regulars. The rest of his team is just as pleasent making everyone feel right at home. The menu is just right size simple, homestyle cooking and inexpensive as good food should be. You don't need to break the bank to have a good meal at a nice place. My breakfast was cooked perfectly to order. Eggs over medium, corned beef hash crusty goodness with the creamy meaty middle center and my hash browns on the side just golden delish. Fast and hot. My coffee was tasty and the most important note...my coffee mug was never empty. Refills on point! I will return!

I'm always looking for different restaurants to dine in on my short visits to Cleveland and I found this little jewel on my yelp search and I'm glad I did! We came in and was greeted and seated right away, the waitress was so polite and got our order in quickly and our breakfast was to follow with a short wait. She always checked on us to see how we were doing. The food was very good and I even to a to go order home. Definitely will come back and I'll definitely recommend to friends and family!

I had not eaten here since 1996.  I used to work on the corner of Green and Mayfield and Joes was a staple lunch at least twice a week. I can still taste the cavitelli!
They were still in the side of an old brick building.  I stopped in today for breakfast and saw they are now in the side of a modern building (essentially a CVS).  I'll bet that was an interesting negotiation.  I'm happy to report the place is much larger and the food is still just as great!  Do yourself a favor and make it here for lunch!

I have lived in Cleveland Heights for about a decade. My parents live about an hour east. Whenever they come to town to visit or for trips to the CLEVELAND Clinic we always stop at EAT AT JOE'S. It's always busy, but the service is always super speedy and accurate. We have never had an incorrect order. The place has tons of character. It's clean. I wish it stayed open later. I have yet to get lunch.
    It's awesome.
